I am so thankful for God’s mercy and grace — first of all that we are not under the Law: “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes.” ~~ Romans 10:4.
What a revelation for someone like the Apostle Paul when he came to this conclusion. He could appreciate this truth because prior to his conversion as a Jew, he lived under the Law. However, Gentiles were never under the Law since they had no covenant with God and therefore were without hope. (“Ye were without Christ, being aliens …and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. Ephesians 2:12-13.)
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” ~~ Acts 4:12.
“For everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved” ~~ Romans 10:13.
