In Acts 7:42, Stephen tells us that God reached a point with the Old Testament Israelites that He would not go on giving them chances to repent. Parents sometimes reach that point with their children and teachers with their students. At some point giving them grace becomes an enablement for them to continue in dysfunction, sin, or laziness; and there comes a point where they must experience the consequences they were warned about.
Jesus said in Matthew 24:14: “And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the world for a witness (with signs and wonders), and then the end will come.” We are on the offensive, experiencing what God is up to, not what the devil is doing. As for us, our focus should be to keep our eyes on Jesus; for it is Christ in us, the hope of glory. We absolutely must have confidence in and trust our God to do miracles and deliver us! And He will! We also called of God to win souls for Christ.
“He who wins souls is wise” ~~ Proverbs 11:30.
“Repent then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out” ~~ Acts 3:19.
“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” ~~ Matthew 3:2.
