I am encouraged and motivated today by these verses:
“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials and tests of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance” ~~ James 1:2-3.
“…But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead” ~~ 2 Corinthians 1:9.
“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls” ~~ 1 Peter 1:6-9 (NKJV).
“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest on me. That is why for the sake of Christ I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong” ~~ 2 Corinthians 12:9-12.
