The Bible says that wars will continue until the Lord comes back. We’re to pray for the peace of Jerusalem; and we are believing for a permanent end to the war between Hamas and Israel, as well as between Ukraine and Russia; but even when there are signed peace treaties between nations, there is still turmoil, bitterness, anger, and hatred.
The Bible puts it this way in Jeremiah 6:14, “They have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people lightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace.”
Yet when the Lord returns, Psalm 46:9 says, “He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire.”
“They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore” ~~ Isaiah 2:4.
Jesus will set up His kingdom, and “The Lord will be king over the whole earth” ~~ Zechariah 24:9.
Come Lord Jesus! Come quickly!
