Rev. Wayne Meyers recently passed on to glory; but his famous sermon as he taught at Christ for the Nations and his lifestyle has always been “LIVE to GIVE!”
I endeavor to do the same: I love people as I love God. I intercede for them — that God would answer our prayers. I give my time and finances not out of obligation or some set of rules I follow, but out of obedience to the Voice of God’s Holy Spirit. Like Wayne Meters, I Live to Give!
I pray for God to forgive sins, and He does. But there is one person He told me to no longer pray for. God said: “He has made his choice!”
How terrible for him! But until I ever hear God say this about anyone, out of love for God, I pray in faith, and I trust His Holy Spirit to work on them and ultimately save them.
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so must you love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” ~~ John 13:34-35.
“Give, and it will be given back to you. Your gift will return to you in full — pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back” ~~ Luke 6:38.
