Victory In Christ

There are several promises in the Bible where our Lord says that when we are sick Jesus will come to our aid and heal us. Even under the Old Covenant God promised to heal people. So we look to Him — Jesus Christ — the Author and Finisher of our faith.

“I Am, the God Who heals you” ~~ Exodus 15:26. 

“So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you” ~~ Exodus 23:25. 

“God always blesses those who are kind to the poor and helpless. They’re the first ones God helps when they find themselves in any trouble. The Lord will preserve and protect them. They’ll be honored and esteemed while their enemies are defeated. When they are sick, lying upon their bed of suffering, God will restore them. He will raise them up again and restore them back to health.” ~~ Psalms 41:1-3 (TPT)

“O LORD my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me” ~~ Psalms 30:2. 

“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases” ~~ Psalms 103: 2-3. 

“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness–by whose stripes you were healed” ~~ 1 Peter 2:24.
