Victory In Christ

OK… you’re a Christian, and you want to know God’s will for your life. So you ask Him in prayer. Then how do you recognize when He reveals His will for your life?

First of all, if you have a decision to make (like to move, change jobs, go to college, marry your sweetheart) … The voice of God will speak into your spirit bringing peace. If there is confusion involved, that would indicate it is NOT His will. 

When God speaks, there is no fear nor condemnation. His thoughts and plans align you with the promises in His eternal Word. 

Every time God speaks, you will sense Him moving you into the right position to have His favor and blessing.  Without this assurance you more than likely would be out of His will. 

Finally, become intimate with God. Meditate upon His Word — His promises in the Bible. Spend time in prayer and studying what the Bible says about life. He will show you how you are to respond, when you are to act, and what steps He has prepared for you to take.

“Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him” ~~ Psalms 36:7a. 

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” ~~ Proverbs 3:5-6.
