Victory In Christ

It is so important that we believers worship the Lord; and worship is different than praise. Praising God is when we tell others or sing songs to about our God and His attributes. 

Worshiping is when we talk directly to our God, when we adore Him, personally thank Him for what GmHe has done in our lives, reverence Him, and esteem Him above all else.  I love to worship my Lord. 

But there is a major Christian radio network has as a spoken tagline… “WORSHIP NOW!” I find it to be harsh, annoying, and misleading. It (in my view) cheapens the intent. I’m critical of it because people everywhere worship something. There’s even the TV program, “American Idol.”  But, no idols for me.  I would rather they would say, “Let’s worship the Lord God together…” or words to that effect. Have you listened to that station, and what are your thoughts on worship?

“God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth” ~~ John 4:24. 

“Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness” ~~ Psalms 100:1-2.
