Well, it’s football season again. And you know what that means in my family … “Go Huskers!” But, my football–lovin’ wife Kathy won’t be here on the couch next to me to enjoy it. And that makes me sad. But I also bet if they have football in Heaven, Kathy’s already playing a game. She’s either the quarterback, a running back or playing defense, and she’s ready to intercept a pass and run it back for a touchdown.
Not too spiritual, I know. But, of course First Corinthians 10:31 says, “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
That’s the way Kathy lived. That’s the way I live, for God’s glory.
Kathy also epitomized this verse in Matthew 5:16: “So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven”~ (TPT).
Kathy lived her faith!
