Cease from being anxious about being accepted by God. After making Jesus Christ Lord of your life, God wants us to enter into His rest — a place in Him where He carries us even when we have no idea how to make it through. His grace holds us up and supports us with invisible arms of strength. Through grace we receive the life of Christ, stand against temptation, take dominion over the kingdom of darkness, and no longer feel the need to prove our worth to God.
Through grace God sees us as a work in progress on the way to perfection. Grace keeps us stable and gives us confidence that it is God Who is developing us and using us for His glory. When we have been impacted by God’s grace, we have an innate desire to serve, work, give and sacrifice. It’s all because of His mercy and grace and our love for Jesus Christ, our Lord.
“Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it” ~~ Heb. 4:1.
“Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” ~~ Heb. 4:16
