In Jeremiah 33:3 in the Amplified Bible, God says to us: “Call to Me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).”
Dutch Sheets elaborates by saying the definition of this original Greek word BATSAR implies something being hidden or isolated like gold still in the ground which has mighty potential when unearthed. So we could say that God is going to reveal the treasure of His Word, or the prophetic revelation necessary to succeed, prosper, or how to break through in a given situation, or receive direction for the future.
“The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, will give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him” ~~ Ephesians 1:17. He wants to “uncover” truth, information, and insight for You. Uncover is actually the literal meaning of revelation. Let Him help you mine the gold.
“Thy words were FOUND, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts” ~~ Jeremiah 15:16.
