Triggers to Receive Answers to Prayer

This is a new day for me. As I pray for folks, friends, and family alike, I need more than just a desire for my prayer to make a difference. But we are not in control of the outcomes; our job is to pray.

Not all prayers are answered the way we would like to see them. But when we pray according to God’s will, then we can trust the Lord; we never tell Him what to do. Yet we also must be in right relationship with Jesus, our Savior, Healer, Deliverer, and Provider in order for Him to hear us.

Having settled this, we can come boldly before the throne of Grace and received help in the time of our need. (Hebrews 4:16).

The two things that motivate and trigger the process of believing prayer (I have found) in are having the compassion of Jesus, and Expecting the Miracle.

What say you?

“My soul, waits silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him” ~~ Psalms 62:5.

“And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them” ~~ Mark 6:34.

“So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him” ~~ Matthew 20:34.
