Power of our Thoughts, Relationships, and Presence:
Today’s blog is not simply about the “power of positive thinking.” Even those in the world teach that. Instead, though our thoughts do matter, so do healthy relationships and a truly godly presence that is “God In-Breathed.” God has given us His life-giving Word and the authority to advance His Kingdom agenda. We possess this, so we should not waste it by “casting pearls before swine” as it says in Matthew 7:6.
Let’s think on things that align with our identity and purposes for living, and entertain thoughts full of God’s promises.
Our greatest hindrance is often the fear of other people’s opinions. Remember, your identity and value don’t come from other people. Neither is your purpose and calling.
So we need to focus on God. Why? Because most people we encounter won’t understand our purpose or calling because it’s not theirs.
As Christians, each of us carries within us the anointing to make a difference in the lives of those around us. Remember these words from the Lord: “Heal the sick, bring the dead back to life, heal those who suffer from dreaded skin diseases, and drive out demons. You have received without paying, so give without being paid” ~~ Matthew 10:8 (GNT).
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” ~~ Philippians 4:8.
