Victory In Christ

Today we read these beautiful words from Colossians 1:12-14 — in The Passion Translation.

“Your hearts can soar with joyful gratitude when you think of how God made you worthy to receive the glorious inheritance freely given to us by living in the light. He has rescued us completely from the tyrannical rule and authority of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom realm of His beloved Son. For in the Son all our sins are canceled and we have the release of redemption through His very blood” ~~ Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭(TPT‬‬).

What wonderful news for us. While non-believers continue to operate only in the natural, physical realm (where the god of that world is Satan), we believers live in the kingdom of God which is glorious Light, and Love, and Eternal Destiny.  God gives us authority to pray that His will is done in people’s lives, in nations, and we expect miracles!

“Pray like this: ‘Our Beloved Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms, may the glory of your name be the center on which our lives turn. Manifest your kingdom realm, and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is in heaven” ~~ Matthew 6:9 (TPT). 

Our responsibility and authority through prayer is to ask Father God to become involved in people’s lives and our own life, too. May His will be done! Amen.
