Time Wasters

We each have 24 hours in our days. How are we using our time?… Are we wasting it? Watching TV? Looking at our phones all day? You get the picture.

For several years I had been Kathy’s caregiver. Since she has been gone  to glory for over two years already, I have a lot more time on my hands. I’ve always worked, and the caregiving was in addition to that. Meals, cleaning, serving, washing the dishes, the clothes, mopping the floor. I’ve been doing that for years. But now though I still do many of those things such as going to the store for example. But now I also spend a lot more time in prayer and Bible reading, and I’m doing my best to manage my time well. It’s good to have productive habits to keep out of trouble. I also have my model train hobby in addition to church and cell group that I enjoy. However, Bible reading and prayer are two of the best activities that I highly recommend. In addition to my normal daily prayer time, I also have the wonderful privilege of praying for people all across our nation for Nora Lam Ministries during weekdays. This has been so rewarding.

How do you spend your time each day? Do you need to make any changes in your priorities?

“Remember him before the door to life’s opportunities is closed and the sound of work fades. Now you rise at the first chirping of the birds, but then all their sounds will grow faint. Remember him before you become fearful of falling and worry about danger in the streets” ~~ Ecclesiastes 12:4-5a (TPT).
