Some Christians have received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, been baptized, and know for sure that they’re on their way to Heaven. Yet, they don’t really know Christ.
It’s sort of like living in a house with someone, but not knowing them. God wants to be involved in your daily life. He wants a personal relationship with us. For me it began with me reading His Word — the Bible — and praying daily. More than this, as I go throughout my day, I thank and praise God for His goodness. I’ll ask Him things and then wait for Him to impress upon my mind what I should do and where I should go. Because Christ is in me, we fellowship together throughout the day. This gives me such peace.
If you don’t feel you’re in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I urge you to seek to have one. It’s not really hard. Jesus said “Abide IN ME, and I IN YOU” ~~ John 15:4-8.
“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent” ~~ John 17:3.
