We are people of faith. So when I hear people say “if it be God’s will, the person will be healed” I am obliged to share that it is ALWAYS God’s will to heal. Jesus healed ALL who came to Him in faith. (Matthew 15:30; Matthew 4:23-25). But He didn’t do anything for people without faith (Matthew 13:58; Mark 6:5). And He told people they would be healed “according to their faith” (Mark 5:34). Matthew 18:19 says “If two of you agree about anything you ask, it will be done for you of My Father (God).”
Therefore when we have a need…. I pray that we might agree together in prayer by faith for healing.” We are not telling Jesus to heal… we humbly ASK according to His promises. Another passage of note: Hebrews 4:16 reads “So let’s walk right up to God and get what He is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.” (Message translation) The King James says we are to “come boldly before His throne.”
So this is what we do. Because there is power in our words, we speak out loud that “THE PERSON’S NAME is being healed in the Name of Jesus, for God’s glory, and for the person’s good. Also, James 1:6 teaches that if people’s faith wavers — is unsteady — having a divided loyalty to God’s promise — leads to an unstable, double-mind; therefore such a person cannot expect God to answer their prayers because their faith is an unproductive, dead thing. This passage emphasizes that a living, active faith must be demonstrated, not just belief.
So we believe, therefore we speak by faith… not doubting, not questioning, not hoping, not allowing for the enemy to steal from our lives. We agree that God’s Word is the TRUTH! Jesus healed ALL who came to Him in Faith. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
I hope you can see this and fully agree with those of us who do for THE PERSON’S total healing… no “ifs, ands, or buts” as they say. . . since we KNOW for certain that it is God’s will to heal, to save, to restore. Amen? Amen!!
