We often use our faith to trust God in a general way. But what about specifics? When you pray, do you ask God to meet a specific need while EXPECTING that He answer your prayer today?
Sometimes it is easier to believe that one day we will start to feel better. One day our ship will come in. One day we will get married, or get that great job or a promotion, or be able to go on a fantastic vacation, or be able to own that newer car or nicer home, or even retire debt free.
But let’s not get so future-minded that we lose sight of today. The Lord loves us TODAY! He promises to provide for ALL of our needs. In Hebrews we read, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
Are you seeking the Lord TODAY and every day? If so, expect His answer TODAY!
He wants to show you His favor and graciousness. Believe it. Receive it today.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” ~~ Matthew 6:33.
