Victory In Christ

At this Christmas season there is so much unrest, angry words, even wars in the world. Jesus prophesied of this. But He also promised us as believers that He will give us His Peace! That in the world we would see trouble, but that He had overcome the world. So when angry mobs destroy, civil unrest occurs, when natural disasters or disease outbreaks happen, or even trouble in marriage comes to try to rob you of your peace, remember: Jesus gives you His peace which includes your spiritual armor — the preparation of the gospel of peace! Peace is a fruit of the Spirit that God is developing within you. As we maintain our beautiful relationship with God, He gives us this utter tranquility in spirit because of our faith and trust in Jesus Christ.

So don’t let anything rustle you out of a state of perfect peace.

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” ~~ John 14:27.

“There is lasting peace for those who love your teachings.

Nothing can make those people stumble” ~~ Psalms 119:165 (GW).

“Then God’s peace, which goes beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your thoughts and emotions through Christ Jesus” ~~ Philippians 4:7 (GW). 

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you” ~~ Isaiah 54:10.
