I realize that for some, this time of year can be quite stressful… what with memories of wonderful times of Christmas family togetherness in years gone by and how it has been all so different for the last few years for so many of us. It makes it all the more special when we do have an opportunity to get together for a family reunion. Such was the case for us this year. We have much for which to be grateful.
For several years my faith in God has been stretched and tested. Yet through it all the Lord has made me stronger. He has taken me to a place of stability of continual and perpetual trust in Him. As the Apostle Paul wrote: “I have learned in whatever state I am in, therewith to be content.” (Philippians 4:11)
I am moving onward and upward — resting in Him. I’m so thankful to God for my blessings and for life itself at the close of this year. And so I am also embracing the exciting life that the Lord has prepared for me — as in just a few days we enter 2026. I hope you anticipate this, too.
