Did you ever stop to think how and why you came to receive salvation by God’s grace and by your faith in Jesus Christ?
Central to our Christian belief is the knowledge that Jesus is the unique and only mediator between God and people. Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Therefore, we can only have a relationship with God the Father through faith in Jesus Christ. It starts with our loving Father God. By His Holy Spirit, God draws us. He woos us, calls to us, hounds us, and He never lets go of us until and as we turn toward Him and receive the free gift of salvation that Jesus Christ offers us. Isn’t that remarkable? Such love! Such patience on His part. Such forgiveness from ALL our sin! Thank You, Jesus!
Jesus states that “No one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him” (Matthew 11:27). By seeing and knowing Jesus, Who is full of grace and truth, people can see and know Father God, because the Father is in Jesus and Jesus is in the Father.
“You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative] He may give to you.” ~~ John 15:16 (AMP).
