Have You Heard of Kathryn Kuhlman?

More than 60 years ago, I attended Kathryn Kuhlman’s meetings and listened to her teach on the radio. In 1972, she gave ORU’s Baccalaureate Sermon to the ORU graduating class (of which my wife and many other of my friends are members). Kathryn Kuhlman taught such things as: “It’s not the length of your prayer that matters; it’s the sincerity. A one sentence whispered prayer can change your life.”

“God is not looking for gold vessels. He is looking for willing vessels, for it is not our ability but our availability that God uses.”

“As long as God is still on the Throne and hears and answers prayer, and as long as your faith in Him is still intact, everything will turn out all right.”

“Living with faith and courage is something that life requires of each of us. Never, absolutely never, give up! Never give in— and no matter what! Fight it through!

And I promise you something with all of my heart — ‘God will help you.’”

Can you say “Amen”?!
