At my age it would be easier for me to live an isolated life — just me, myself, and I. But the truth is: I’m a friendly person. I like to make and keep friends, because as the Bible says, friends sharpen each other (Proverbs 27:17). In order to keep friends, we need to stay in touch. I am fortunate to have many friends who Kathy and I met in college nearly 60 years ago. And in the decades since then we have added many more. A lot of them are always there in the background.
And though we have many things in common, we seldom interact anymore. Through this blog and my reaching out to you, I’m hoping to change that. I am here to pray for your needs — to listen to you, to befriend you as few others will or could ever do… why, because I care. I love God, and I love people!
