Victory In Christ

What is Christianity? I can tell you what it’s not: 

1: Christianity is not a Bible verse tattoo on your arm 

2: Nor is it liking a cute Hillsong lyric

3:it’s not the one word in your Instagram bio.

4: it’s not doing good works in an effort to earn your trip to Heaven.

5: Nor is it your FISH bumper sticker

6: and it’s not a religion — one based upon rules. 

These are misconceptions surrounding our faith; and it would be impossible to list every single misconception about Christianity. 

So, what actually IS Christianity?

1: Christianity is submitting your life on a daily places to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, God’s Son. 

2: it is literally denying your own desires — your flesh, and instead, living for Christ. 

3: it is allowing the love and life of Christ Jesus to live His life through you.

4: it is sharing with others, your new life in Christ, as your testimony.
