So don’t worry, and don’t keep saying, “What shall we eat, what shall we drink, or what shall we wear?” That kind of anxious striving belongs to those who live as if God was not involved in your life. But you are not unseen or forgotten. Your Heavenly Father knows your needs before they ever form into prayers. He understands the practical concerns of your daily life just as much as the longings of your heart.
When you set your heart on God’s kingdom—when His will, His ways, and His goodness become your first pursuit—your perspective begins to change. Fear loosens its grip. Trust takes root. Life is no longer driven by a ‘fight for survival,’ but by confidence in a faithful Father. Seeking the kingdom does not mean ignoring responsibilities; it means placing them in the right order, under God’s care rather than on your shoulders alone.
When you trust God, provision follows. Not always in excess, not always on your timeline, but always with purpose. So align your life with His goodness. Be grateful and content, then what you truly need will find its way to you as an added blessing from the Lord. Let peace replace anxiety, and contentment instead of comparison. Your faith reminds you that you are held, guided, and provided for every step of the way by our loving Lord. He is totally trustworthy!~~ Read Matthew 6:31-33
“So don’t worry and don’t keep saying, ‘What shall we eat, what shall we drink or what shall we wear?! That is what pagans are always looking for; your Heavenly Father knows that you need them all. Set your heart on the kingdom and his goodness, and all these things will come to you as a matter of course”~~Matthew 6:31-33 (JBP).
