We benefit from the Holy Spirit’s Guidance System. The Lord loves us and cares for us — and for all who put their trust in Him. We hear from God. Every morning I listen for His voice; and where and when He guides, He provides. That is His promise!
Now, the Bible also says that there is wisdom in having many advisors. We shouldn’t try to go it alone — being self-willed. But with God guiding our steps, and as we stay in tune with His Spirit and listen to His still, small voice, we can be confident of our success. As we trust in the Spirit’s leading, guiding, and direction every day. . . we live without fear of loss.
Does everything always go our way? No. Sometimes the Lord says “No” to our plans. And sometimes the Lord says “Wait.” The Holy Spirit acts as our guide, leading us in decisions, warning of traps, and ensuring we walk in the right way. Ultimately we win because the Lord is on our side. (Psalms 118:6 & Galatians 5:22-23).
