It’s Through the Power of God — Now!

When Jesus walked the earth, miracles happened instantly at His word-blind eyes opened, the sick were healed, and the dead were raised. Yet Scripture says there were places where He did no mighty works because of unbelief (Mark 6:5-6). At other times, He required obedience before the miracle came-like the blind man told to wash in the pool of Siloam; when he obeyed, he received his sight (John 9:7). In every case, God received the glory.

The same principle remains today: miracles flow from relationship and knowing Christ, and living by His indwelling Spirit. It is not our power, but His. Though Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father, He has entrusted His authority to us as His disciples. We do not wait for a “breakthrough” as though something is lacking; Christ is in us now! Because of this, we are called to preach the gospel, heal the sick, and make disciples. As Jesus said, those who believe in Him will do the works He did—and even greater works—through His Name (John 14:12). Miracles still happen today, not by human strength, but by the power of God working through yielded lives.
