When we pray for our family and others as they’re growing up in Christ, our desire is that Father God would reveal His ways, His plan to each of them. When social media and encounters with friends in school try to deconstruct their faith, we want our folks to stand strong because they know who they are in Christ. These, then, are scriptures that we pray — on which I stand.
“I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power”~~ Ephesians 1:17-19. (TPT)
“When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God”~~ Ephesians 3:14-19 (NLT).
“Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you” ~~ Ephesians 3:20 (TPT).
This is what I pray for people when they’re questioning their faith and need to have a solid foundation for their Christian beliefs.
