Victory In Christ

From a practical standpoint, asking Jesus, to be Lord of your life, implies that you put Him in charge of your daily life — every day.  You’ll consult Him before making decisions. You give God your day every morning. You will keep in an attitude of prayer throughout your day. You’ll also give God all your worries, your finances, your marriage, how to relate to and train your kids, as well as any character issues. You’ll repent of any known sin, then, at the end of the day, pray for your family, friends, business, then ask the Lord to give you “sweet sleep.”

“You can throw the whole weight of your anxieties upon Him, for you are His personal concern” ~~ 1 Peter 5:7b (JB Phillips).

“In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety” ~~ Psalms 4:8 (ESV). 

“It really is senseless to work so hard from early morning till late at night, toiling to make a living for fear of not having enough. Instead shift your jumbled thoughts to a mind fully focused on God, for He provides for His devoted lovers even while they sleep!” ~~ Psalms 127:2 (TPT).

“When you lie down, you will not be afraid and your sleep will be sweet” ~~ Proverbs 3:24.
