Fifty-Five years ago when I attended Oral Roberts University, I had the wonderful privilege of interviewing President Oral Roberts for a film I was making about the campus. As we talked in his office on the sixth floor of the LRC, I was so impressed with the sign on his desk as it faced me: “Make No Little Plans Here.” I became so motivated after reading it that I started making greater plans for my future self than ever before. One of my goals was to become a TV station manager. I was already working at channel 6 in Tulsa as a cameraman while still in college. I also wanted to travel the world as a TV producer and airing evangelistic broadcasts globally. I didn’t know how this would be possible since there were no satellites back then.
My point is this: God gave me those plans,, and He answered my prayers — both of them. My faith grew and my knowledge and experience grew. Then God opened the doors. He prepared the way. Technology became available. And on top of my two goals God used me to produce thousands of Bible teaching programs that were transmitted by satellites globally for 15 years.
When we trust God, nothing is impossible!
Mark 10:27 & Matthew 19:26: “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!”
