Doorway to Salvation

In John 10:9-10 Jesus declares that He is the only way to eternal life. We must each come through Him — as the only doorway to salvation in order to be IN CHRIST and then become secure from the evil plans of the enemy. Let’s read it together in the Amplified version: “I am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved [and will live forever], and will go in and out [freely], and find pasture [spiritual security]. The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, until it overflows].”

We become “a new creation” only as we abide “In Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:17-18). In Him (Jesus Christ) we have life eternally.

Once Jesus redeems us from a life of sin, He communes with us and fills us with His Spirit. We can then be sent out into the world as Christ’s ambassador because our lives are secure as we remain “In Christ.” Therefore we can have “Victory In Christ.” I hope this makes complete sense.
