Encourage One Another

There are many ONE ANOTHERs on the New Testament— many of them are found in First Peter. Today, I’m focusing on ENCOURAGING ONE ANOTHER.

I just really love it when people share with me that the Lord brought my name to their mind and they prayed for me; and then they let me know. This is always so encouraging. And we are called to encourage each other in Hebrews 3:13.  We become better persons when we encourage one another. We do this as unto the Lord as an act of His love, compassion, and care. Below is a list of most of the ONE ANOTHERs in 1 Peter:

  • Bless one another by words & actions ~~ 1 Pet. 3:9

  • Care for one another ~~ 1 Pet. 4:10

  • Serve one another ~~ 1 Pet. 4:10

  • Be of the same mind toward one another ~~ 1 Pet. 3:8

  • Clothe yourselves with humility toward one another ~~ 1 Pet. 5:5

  • Be hospitable to one another ~~ 1 Pet. 4:9

  • Live in harmony with one another ~~ 1 Pet. 3:8

  • Greet one another ~~ 1 Pet. 5:14

  • Love one another ~~ 1 Pet. 4:8
