As I look ahead to the future, I am filled with anticipation, confidence, and hope regarding how our God is working all things out for our good— your good, my good, our nation’s good.  We place the future into His hands. The Bible says that “everything that can be shaken will be shaken” so that the only thing remaining — that which is unshakable —  is Jesus Christ, our Source. He IS the Anchor of our souls; and as a beautiful friend of mine says: “Our confidence in life has to be ‘GODFIDENCE!’” We are secure in Him! Our faith is rock-solid. We are unshakable and immovable! And people all around us will see God at work in our lives for God’s glory!  This brings an old hymn to mind: “On Christ, the solid rock I stand; all other ground is sinking sand… in every high and stormy gale, my anchor holds within the veil.” And right now I hear Him say to us all: “everything’s gonna be alright! You can trust Me.  I do all things well.” (The people who followed Jesus said of Him in Mark 7:37: “He has done all things well.”
