I Feel Like Singing

Today I just feel like singing familiar  Christian choruses. I simply thank God for life itself. Despite all our losses, it’s like the old song says, it’s

“Christ for me, yes, it’s Christ for me. He’s my Savior my Lord and King. I am so happy I’ll shout and sing. Christ for me, yes, it’s Christ for me. Every day as I go on my way it is Christ for me.”

“We bring the sacrifice of praise to the house of the Lord, and we offer up to You the sacrifice of Thanksgiving. And we offer up to You the sacrifice of joy.”

“Praise the Name of Jesus. Praise the Name of Jesus. He’s my Rock. He’s my fortress. He’s my Deliverer, in Him will I trust. Praise the Name of Jesus.”

There’s plenty of room for new choruses and songs, but I love these old ones from 50 years ago or more.

“Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, there’s just something about that Name. Master, Savior, Jesus… like the fragrance after the rain. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, let all heaven and earth proclaim— kings and kingdom may all pass away but there’s something about that Name.”
