Walking in Christlike Character

As Jesus' disciples, everything that comes our way is an opportunity to walk in greater Christ-like character. Anyone can say they are Christians and that they love God, but it remains to be seen. The Bible says:

       “Giving all diligence add to your faith moral excellence, and to that add knowledge, and to that self-control, and to that consistency, and to that godly character, and to that brotherly love” ~~ 2 Peter 1:5-7 (TPT).

      “Guard your heart with all diligence because from out of it flows the issues of life” ~~ Prov. 4:23.

      “Don't talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip. Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you…leave evil in the dust” ~~ Prov. 4:24-27 (MSG).
