We Abide in the Vine! In Christ!

Let’s stay plugged into our God. The Bible calls it “Abiding in the Vine.”  Jesus is the Vine. He says to us: “I am the true vine; my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that does not produce fruit. And he trims every branch that produces fruit so that it will produce even more. You are already clean because of the words I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you… I am the vine, and you are the branches. If a person remains in me and I remain in him, then he produces much fruit. But without me he can do nothing.” ~~ John 15:1-7 (ICB).

We who abide in Christ have the confidence that Jesus Christ keeps us from evil. He stands guard over the Christian life as a sentry protecting us against the wiles of the enemy.

 “We are kept by the power of God"  ~~ 1 Peter 1:5.

 “The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your soul” ~~ Psalms 121:7.
