We Pray in Jesus’ Name, But Why?

 Why Do Christians Pray in Jesus’ Name?

Nobody’s life was ever changed by sending “positive vibes” or “sending thoughts your way.” But prayer prayed in the authority of Jesus’ Name shakes the gates of hell.  So, I’m not sending you vibes today. I’m going to pray!

Jesus repeatedly taught His disciples to pray in His Name (John 14:13–14; 15:16; 16:23–24). To pray in Jesus' Name is to acknowledge that our access to God in prayer comes only through Jesus Christ, God’s only Son.

Truth spoken here! God has set us a part as intercessors who pray with a Holy Spirit anointing. We see results and receive the answers to our prayers, and God gets all the glory. We are about His business.
