I am not an elitest, nor am I anyone special, yet God has called me to “stand-in-the-gap” to make a difference in people’s lives and our nation through prayer. I am starting to see what the Lord can and will do through a people who simply pray in faith.
I never try to convince God to do something; but I am releasing His will to be done on earth in people’s lives just as it is in Heaven. I make my petition in prayer, then I leave it to God to accomplish what we prayed for. After prayer, I let it go. I trust God to be true to His Word.
“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him” ~~ 2 Chronicles 16:9.
“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven” ~~ Matthew 18:19 (NIV).
“Until now you have not asked for anything in My Name; ask and you will receive, so that your happiness may be complete” ~~ John 16:24 (GNB).
“I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it” ~~ Ezekiel 22:30a.
“Since we have this confidence, we can also have great boldness before Him, for if we ask anything agreeable to His will, He will hear us” ~~ 1 John 5:14 (TPT).
“But when you pray, you must believe and not doubt at all. Whoever doubts is like a wave in the sea that is driven and blown about by the wind” ~~ James 1:6 (GNB).
