Holiness is being set apart for God. It is not a status we achieve, but a work God does in us as He sanctifies our lives. While it begins with a personal decision to follow Him, it is lived out daily through consecration—prayer, trust in the Lord, and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Sanctification involves disciplining the flesh and choosing to live above indulgence and carnality. It is a life of devotion—loving God, submitting to His will, and affirming Jesus as Lord in both word and action. This kind of intentional holiness is only possible through God’s power at work within us.
Though some may be dedicated to God early in life, true holiness grows through a personal relationship with Him. It is God who sets us apart, anoints us, and enables our devotion. Our part is to yield fully to Him.
In this life of holiness, we experience deep intimacy with God— His peace, favor, and presence even in hardship. Christ lives in us, and His love flows through us to others. We become His hands extended, reflecting His life to the world.
Therefore, we “Present our bodies as a living sacrifice — holy and acceptable to God which is our reasonable service” 📖 Romans 12:1.
We experience an intimacy with God that brings us peace and His divine favor and blessing even during the most difficult times in our lives. Christ is in us. His love and very life flow out from us in ministry and care for others. We become an extension of Christ. We are His body, His hands extended. Thank You, Jesus!
