Victory In Christ

Jesus gave us His example of servanthood, of taking responsibility for the caring of the flock, of leading and guiding His people to green pastures.

“I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for His sheep” ~~ John 10:11.

It is a humbling thing that Jesus was willing to lay down His life for such a world. Our prayer is that we wouldn’t take Jesus birth, life, or His sacrificial death for granted, but rather live in a way that shows Him our gratitude day by day: “but God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by His blood, much more shall we be saved by Him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by His life”~~ Romans 5:8-10 (ESV).
