Victory In Christ

A man once asked his doctor, “What’s on the other side of death?” The doctor replied, “I really don’t know.”

Just then, his dog rushed in—full of joy—because he knew his master was there, even though he’d never been in that room before.

The doctor said, “I don’t know much about what’s beyond death, but I know this: my Master is there—and that’s enough.”

When a Christian’s physical body dies, the person’s spirit immediately enters the presence of God. Paul describes this as being “away from the body and at home with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:6-9).
