Though God rested on the seventh day of creation, He’s still working – watching over His words to perform them. If He said it in His Word the Bible, you can take it to the bank. It is going to happen. He can’t separate His Word from Himself, for Jesus IS the Word!
“In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God” ~~ John 1:1-2.
God isn’t offended when we remind Him of what He said. In fact, He’s honored. When we say, “Lord, remember You said that by Jesus’ stripes I was healed.” He’s delighted that you believe Him and receive His Word by faith; and He releases His power into your situation. The LORD said to me, “You have seen correctly, for l am watching to see that My Word is fulfilled” ~~ Jeremiah 1:12
“So is my word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it” ~~ Isaiah 55:11.
