Even though we walk by faith, sometimes our situation appears to be very serious. Yet, if we panic, we only make things worse. But as we maintain our Peace, our confidence, and our trust in God and allow Him to work in the circumstances so they turn out for our good (as He promises in Romans 8:28), God will get the glory. He is the author of Peace and a very present help in time of trouble. Fear opens the door for our enemy to wreak havoc on our minds, wills, and emotions. But believers are a new creation in Christ. We have authority over all the work of the devil. So instead of succumbing to the pressure, or the triggers of fear, we speak and act by faith in order to get the Victory.
Let’s never again become a victim of our circumstances. Call upon the Lord; ask for His wisdom and His peace to prevail. Jesus said, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world ~~ John 16:33.
“Therefore, we have been justified by faith and have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” ~~ Romans 5:1.
“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful” ~~ Colossians 3:15.
“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid” ~~ John 14:27.
