If you or someone you love is struggling, God’s Word speaks to your situation. People may say,
“This too shall pass,” but true hope is found in knowing God cares, loves you, and has not left you. If you belong to Christ, His Spirit is with you in the storm.
When the disciples feared for their lives, Jesus calmed the raging sea
— and He still brings peace in life’s storms today. Let these scriptures strengthen and comfort your heart where Jesus said, “My peace I give to you… Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27).
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble”
(Psalm 46:1).
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you” (Isaiah 43:2).
“I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him” (Psalms 91:15).
“The God of all comfort… comforts us in all our affliction” (2
Corinthians 1:3-5).
“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted” (Psalms 34:18).
These promises have anchored me through my own hardest seasons. God will bring you through, as well.
