Victory In Christ

Most people spend their lives trying to become strong enough to succeed, change, or carry life’s burdens. Yet sooner or later they discover a profound truth: they are not and cannot be the source.

Jesus said, “I am the vine, ye are the branches… for without me ye can do nothing” (John 15:5). Paul declared, “In Him we live, and move, and have our being” (Acts 17:28).

We may improve behavior, gain knowledge, and build discipline, but we cannot produce the life of Christ: Love, joy, peace, grace, and spiritual authority. “The flesh profiteth nothing” (John 6:63). “Our sufficiency is of God” (2 Cor. 3:5).

The failure of self-reliance becomes a gift when it reveals our need for Christ. God’s strength is made perfect in weakness, and His grace flows when self-dependence ends (2 Cor. 12:9; James 4:6).

True spiritual authority does not come from talent, intellect, or self-confidence. It comes through dependence on Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 2:4; Acts 1:8).

Jesus did not come merely to improve your life—He came to BE your life. “Christ, WHO is our life” (Col. 3:4). The Gospel is not self-improvement; it is the exchange of self-life for divine life.

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me” (Gal. 2:20).

Receive Christ as your Source by surrendering self! As dependence on Him grows, grace and life increase.

The world’s corrupted source produces corrupted fruit. But the Gospel offers something radically different— Christ! Our new Source.

“If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature” (2 Cor. 5:17). “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27).

You were never meant to be the source of life. Christ alone is the Source. The more you rely on Him, the more His life, grace, strength, and authority become evident in your daily living.
