Life

       After years of trying to strengthen ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, we eventually discover a life-changing truth: our strength comes from the Lord alone. Jesus is our Source—not ourselves. He said, “I am the vine, you are the branches” (John 15:5). In Him we live, move, and have our being (Acts 17:28). The Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing (John 6:63). Our sufficiency is of God (2 Cor. 3:5).

      Paul learned this firsthand when God told him, “My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Cor. 12:9). God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6). 

       Failure becomes your teacher. Grace flows where self-confidence ends.

       Our authority does not come from intellect, ability, or achievement— but through dependence on God and surrender to His will. Jesus is not our assistant or co-pilot—He is our life (Col. 3:4). He came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10).

Jesus promised, “You shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you” (Acts 1:8). Surrender your life of self-dependence and receive the new life empowered by the Spirit.

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me” (Gal. 2:20). Christ in you—the hope of glory (Col. 1:27).
