God has called His Church to become “spiritual bullfighters.” And not only to fight, but to win! To beat up on the devil! This passage in Corinthians says it best:
“For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide. We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One” ~~ 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (TPT).
Are we pulling down strongholds?
Joshua 1:9 reads: “I’ve commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t ever be afraid or discouraged! I am the LORD your God, and I will be there to help you wherever you go.” ~~ CEV.
But I get even more excited learning of other synonyms in various other translations:
- Be: courageous, active, strengthened, confident, and steadfast.
- Don’t be: terrified, dismayed, fearful, trembling, or frightened.
- God is with me: the great I AM, will never leave me.
Hallelujah! I will be taken out of negative situations or supernaturally brought through safely by God! So, I have no fear!
