Live in the Present

Much of my existence right now is quite different than it was just a few years ago. I live alone now in my new home, in a different city. I have an 11 year newer vehicle, and I am making new friends. I have seriously downsized many nonessential possessions and have reevaluated my lifestyle.

None of us can change the past, and I’m not afraid of the future. I enjoy living for today. I am optimistic and have plans for the future to enjoy my hobbies. I also am grateful for my work in business development. I enjoy calling on folks, and I “go with the flow” in this ever-changing world.  I am attempting to eat more healthily, and I’m trying to exercise and lose weight. I don’t have any addictions, yet I choose to read the Bible and pray daily, as well as keep in contact with friends and family. This year, the ministry “Victory In Christ” (dot ONE) is up and running, and the Lord connects me with precious folks for which I am able to pray. And it’s gratifying to see the Lord answer our prayers.

I’ve had some health challenges in the last few months, but the Lord is my healer and the strength of my life. Can you say “amen”?
