The Aaronic Blessing

God spoke to Moses and instructed him to share this blessing in Numbers that we term the Aaronic Blessing: “Thus you shall bless the people of Israel: you shall say to them, ‘The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace’”~~ Numbers 6:23b–26.. God created this promise, spoke it to Moses, and commanded him to bless His people. Many churches speak this blessing over their congregations at the end of their church services. And a beautiful Christian hymn has been written that is this blessing sung word for word. We can do the same. Sing it… speak it! Live it!
