It Is Finished

Why do Christians expect a miracle? We honor God by our thoughts coming into alignment with Jesus’ declaration: “It is Finished!” Therefore, we HAVE the petitions we ask of Him because we are asking in faith! (1 John 5:15). We don’t waver.

Clearly we are now to believe in our heart and confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is alive. (Romans 10:9). He IS our Savior and Healer. (Matthew 4:23). He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” ~~ John 14:6 (ESV).

“God is the solid rock under my feet, breathing room for my soul, an impregnable castle: I’m set for life. My help and glory are in God — granite-strength and safe-harbor-God— So trust him absolutely, people; lay your lives on the line for him. God is a safe place to be” ~~ Psalms 62:6-8 (MSG).

The religious scene years ago was overgrown with tradition and underbrush (even a spiritual jungle) preventing people from having (or understanding fully) God’s presence within. Now He is making us aware of biblical truths that have always been there. He has  REVEALED truths that ENABLE believers to cut through the jungle. . . to create an instantaneous connection — better than a highway — that brings us not only CLOSER to God, but which places us IN GOD as we believe and trust Him. We now recognize that we have GOD’s presence abiding WITHIN US — guiding, directing, enabling us to walk the Christian walk. We are IN GOD, and He is IN US. (1 John 4:13). We are not worried about what looks like a jungle ahead. Jesus has already won the race. He is the Victor on the battleground of earth. He paved the way and paid the price — our prayers are already answered in Him.  Therefore, we are “more than conquerors in and through Him.” (Romans 8:37). Jesus is the Conqueror, and since we are IN CHRIST, we are more than conquerors.

We acknowledge, understand, actualize, and are possessed with the fullness of the unlimited miracle life of Christ. We don’t simply receive something FROM God.  To “Actualize” implies “making a reality.”  We lift up the banner of Christ’s fulfilled mission because He loves us all.  He gave us His Word, His Way, His Truth, His Life.

We preach the “Kingdom of God.” As believers we have a personal relationship with the King. God is the King of righteousness, peace, and joy in the love of Christ. This is what the Kingdom is all about. The Bible says “The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 14:17). The key to the Kingdom is the King — King Jesus and the miracle life of Christ resident within believers.  For Christ lives IN YOU! (Galatians 2:20).
